Instrument de masura extrem de util in setarea sistemelor de SPL. Functioneaza pe principii similare cu Termlab-ul (aparatul de masura folosit ca referinta in domeniu). Dupa acesta din urma se fac si calibrarile senzorilor SPL LAB, marja de eroare in comparatie cu Termlab-ul fiind extrem de mica - o.1 db!

USB BASS METER is a hardware-software complex for measuring and analyzing of the high pressure sound frequency signals.

General information
Current hardware-software complex is intended for those who value the convenience, velocity and accuracy of measurements. The set consists of the gauge monoblock, combining the high-precision solid-state sensor and ADC unit, and the measuring program SPL-LAB Measuring Center, which was developed specially for SPL-LAB devices. Setup of the hardware-software complex will not take longer than 5 minutes even for inexperienced user. A computer with pre-installed Windows OS only is needed for work, sound card is NOT REQUIRED!

Application
The sphere of application for this hardware-software complex is wide - starting with measuring music to car exhausts or noise at the plant floor. But the main accent is on the measuring the bass channel of car audio system, concert hall or home-theater. Over a short period of time a user will be able to see on the screen of his PC the amplitude-frequency characteristic of the system, to find its resonant frequency, at that not only of the system as a whole, but of its components separately. For example, the resonant frequency of the inside of the car can be be easily estimated and then just by changing the position of the sensor to get the resonant frequency of subwoofer phase inverter. Not the least of the factors is that in the set of the hardware-software complex the calibrations similar to the TERM-LAB meter with accuracy 0.1dB.

It enables the participants of dB Drag and other competitions, where the measuring complex TREM-LAB is used, to perform preparation and set up a system. Besides it gives the oportunity to conduct competitions. USB BASS METER has already established a reputation as a worthy measuring complex. Many contests were held in Russia and the countries of CIS using the device. If desired, the calibrations can be made-to-order. That will enable preparation for the contests where similar measurment complexes are used.
