Masina Anului in Lume: Lista castigatorilor din 2005 si pana in prezent

An de an, incepand cu 2005, jurnalisti de pe intreg mapamondul isi dau intalnire pentru a alege si premia cele mai interesante, mai performante si mai eficiente modele pe care le ofera industria auto la momentul respectiv.

Pentru a participa in cadrul concursului World Car of the Year (WCOTY), automobilele trebuie sa se vanda fie cel putin in cinci tari diferite, fie pe doua continente inainte de data de 1 ianuarie a anului in care se desfasoara competitia propriu-zisa.

Asadar, acestea fiind spuse, iata lista tuturor castigatorilor care s-au impus in cadrul World Car of the Year (WCOTY) de-a lungul celor noua ani ai competitiei:

Drept urmare, un simplu calcul si rezulta ca cele mai multe distinctii World Car of the Year (WCOTY) au luat drumul catre Grupul Volkswagen, germanii de la Audi fiind lideri incontestabili cu cele sase premii obtinute de-a lungul celor noua ani de existenta ai celebrei competitii.

Pe locul doi vin cei de la Volkswagen, cu un total de cinci premii obtinute, in timp ce ultima treapta a podiumului este ocupata de cei de la Porsche, cu trei premii adunate in cei noua ani de existenta ai World Car of the Year (WCOTY).

Cel mai premiat model din istoria competitiei este Audi R8, exoticul automobil al constructorului din Ingolstadt fiind singurul capabil sa se laude cu trei distinctii, dintre care doua obtinute in cadrul categoriei World Performance Car, respectiv una in cadrul categoriei World Car Design of the Year.
